I have decided I will be participating in Inktober this year seeing as the stars have hopefully aligned so I can spend time doodling instead writing! I have officially completed the first draft of book two (working title is The Red String Of Fate), and it clocks in at a hefty 147 000 words. I … Continue reading Inktober!
I hadn’t realised I’d let so much time pass without posting. My wee study is more like a documentation of me improving my art over quarantine. I can personally see huge leaps of skilling up in each piece. Life is soon returning to normal and I’m not all that sure I want too. Le sigh.
So I’m deep cleaning for new arrivals in my house, and whilst going through the myriad of note books, and papers I keep, I came across a wee snippet written out on scrap paper complete with a drawing. Sorry, it was a weird feeling reading something with such familiar characters, but they aren’t quite themselves yet. The writing is very cringey, though I do believe this is a piece from 2008. It’s not … Continue reading That feeling you get…
So I’m stumbled upon this tidbit in my travels on the internet, and I thought I would share. Isn’t it interesting how one person can affect culture and fashion for so long. Source: Why Male Clothes Are Mostly Drab & Plain
Okay, so been watching art vids on YouTube all day, reading, with occasional writing of drabbles inserted here and there. I’m a bit sore and achey from staying up all night drawing. Definitely did not have that happen when I was in high school. The art vids have me feeling insecure about my art skills, … Continue reading I’m guilty of enjoying lockdown.
