So I always wanted a wanted poster for my main character, Asadel. Today I sketched the face I wanted on the poster. In my head, Asadel’s pacing around scratching his head, saying, “it doesn’t even look like me.” That’s the point, darling. He’s pouting at me now. I’ve been ignoring him for weeks, and I’ve … Continue reading Today’s sketch
In the name of procrastination, I doodle thee Raphael. Not wanting to do rewrites for a Whisper of Destiny or write that revised outline for book 2, I started writing a short story. Y’all meet Raphael (that’s what he’s called for now.)
So I’m posting a time lapse vid on one of my earlier pieces of art. Does any one else find these hilarious? Yes I’ve just discovered they are a thing. Bare with me, I’m basically reteaching myself to art, but I’m definitely having fun in the process.

Maybe I remember wrong, but I used to be capable of some amazing pieces. I’m still not in a place where I can … Continue reading Not quite finished but sharing anyway.
So, if you follow me at all, you would know I’m writing a book series called ‘The Path Once Chosen’. I describe it as an epic regency romantasy, but it’s well truly camped in the fantasy genre. It has been surprisingly hard to get good feedback while writing the first book ‘A Whisper of Destiny.’ … Continue reading The Art of the Critique
If you’re a bit of an artist I totally recommend them. It’s been a while since I sketched and painted. A few something, something years. Honestly thought my game was off, and I was out of practice. I got these things on impulse buy. Honestly I miss having the time to create real art, but … Continue reading So I got my Body Kun Dolls yesterday
